Granny Stripe Blanket

Vandaag even geen boek review.

Today there's no book review. That is because I'm still working on a project from a book that I am totally thrilled about. I will tell you all about it next week. In this blog post I would like to tell you about a project that I started a long time ago. The Granny Stripe was made by a pattern of Attic24 (click here). It was in my closet a long time and it wasn't finished at all when I started working on it again last fall. I still had to make lots of rows and the edging. But I finished it just before Christmas and I was very happy with the result. Because I have a lot of blankets, I decided to give this one away to the charity project for Romania (click here). I hope this blanket found a happy new owner. I made the blanket with Drops Paris and a crochet hook size 4mm. You can use another yarn as well, like Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran. That's a similar yarn. Read more details about how I made this yarn here.

  9. I made a similar blanket last year for my cousins baby, slightly different but basically white and colour stripes. I was so pleased with how it came out.
This is SO lovely, the colours are perfect, I'm pinning ready for the next baby in the family.
